The Rosa Bathsheba®, a masterpiece by David Austin Roses, was introduced in 2016 at the Chelsea Flower Show and has since become a favorite among rose enthusiasts worldwide. This English climbing rose opens with apricot-yellow buds that unfold into shallow cupped rosettes in soft shades of apricot pink, peach, and cream yellow – a harmony of warm colors that brightens any garden.

The flowers have an intense scent of myrrh with notes of honey and tea, an irresistible combination that fills every summer day with refined charm. Bathsheba® is repeat flowering, treating you to waves of blooms and fragrance from early summer well into autumn.

Plant Rosa Bathsheba® in a sunny to partially shaded spot in well-drained, nutrient-rich soil.
Prune in early spring to encourage new shoots and regularly remove spent flowers to promote repeat blooming.

Roses in a pot

A potted rose is a rose plant that has already been grown in a pot and is delivered with a well-developed root system. These roses are ready to be planted in the garden or in a larger pot, without having to wait for roots to develop. Bare-root roses – also called root roses – are rose plants that are delivered without pots or soil. These roses are dormant and can be planted directly in the ground. The best time to plant a root rose is autumn or early spring, when the soil is still moist and the temperature is mild.
