This hand-forged spade is designed for those seeking quality and comfort in gardening. The blade is sharpened on the underside so that it cuts effortlessly into the ground. Thanks to the curvature in the blade and the sturdy mounting at the correct angle with the handle, breaking is prevented and the spade is pleasant to use.

The spade is perfectly suitable for digging and transplanting plants, but not intended as a shovel. The blade is mounted on a strong ash wood handle of 90 cm, which ensures a good balance and grip. The total length of the spade is 116 cm. Optionally available with steps to protect your shoes while working.

Roses in Pots

A potted rose is a rose plant that has been pre-grown in a pot and comes with a well-developed root system. These roses are ready to be planted directly into the garden or a larger container — no need to wait for new root growth. This makes potted roses ideal for planting throughout the year, especially from May to October.

Bare Root Roses

Bare root roses are rose plants supplied without soil or pots. These roses are in their dormant stage and can be planted directly into the ground. The best time to plant bare root roses is in autumn or early spring, when the soil is still moist and temperatures are mild.

At Belle Epoque, we supply bare root roses from November to April. Thanks to their strong root systems and the right planting conditions, these roses quickly grow into healthy, vigorous shrubs or climbing roses with abundant blooms.

Products are shipped weekly on Mondays & Shipped directly from the nursery on Wednesday. By delivering only twice a week, we reduce logistical emissions and optimize our processes. This benefits both the quality of our products and the climate.
