The Tuscan Terracotta Pot Alto Liscio is an elegant, tall pot that immediately brings the atmosphere of an Italian garden to your terrace. With a diameter of 40 cm and a height of 43 cm This pot has a slender and stylish appearance that perfectly suits roses, lavender, and other flowering plants.
Handcrafted from high-quality Tuscan clay and finished according to centuries-old artisanal traditions, each pot is unique. The warm terracotta color and sleek, smooth design provide a timeless look that fits beautifully in both classic and modern gardens.
Perfect for roses in pots
Thanks to the extra height, the Alto Liscio offers surprisingly ample space for root development. This makes the pot excellent for patio roses, English roses, and compact shrub roses. The natural properties of terracotta allow the roots to breathe and excess moisture to drain, contributing to healthy and strong plants.
At Belle Epoque, we like to combine this pot with richly blooming roses in soft pink, apricot, or cream tones. The warm color of the Tuscan clay enhances the flowers and creates a romantic look that continues to surprise for months.
A showpiece on terrace and entrance
Due to its tall shape, the Alto Liscio is especially suitable as a standalone piece on a terrace, next to a front door, or along a garden path. Also, combined with several Tuscan terracotta pots of different heights, it creates an atmospheric Mediterranean look.
Besides roses, this pot is also beautiful when planted with lavender, rosemary, or a combination of fragrant herbs. This way, you easily create a Tuscan atmosphere where scent, color, and experience come together.

Advice from Belle Epoque
For optimal growth, we recommend adding a drainage layer of hydro pellets or broken pots and filling the pot with quality rose soil. Thanks to its generous depth, roses can develop excellently and bloom abundantly for years.
The Tuscan Terracotta Pot Alto Liscio is more than just a flowerpot; it is a piece of Italian craftsmanship that gives your roses and garden plants a stylish place to shine.
Roses in pots
A potted rose is a rose plant that has already been grown in a pot and is delivered with a well-developed root system. These roses are ready to be planted directly in the garden or in a larger pot, without having to wait for root growth. This makes the potted rose ideal for planting throughout the year, especially from May through October.
Roses with bare roots
Bare-root roses – also called root roses – are rose plants delivered without a pot or soil. These roses are dormant and can be planted directly in open ground. The best time to plant a root rose is in autumn or early spring, when the soil is still moist and the temperature mild.
At Belle Epoque we supply bare-root roses from November through April. Thanks to the well-developed root system and the right planting conditions, these roses grow vigorously into healthy and bloom-rich bushes or climbing roses.
Products are shipped directly from the nursery every Monday and Wednesday. By delivering only twice a week, we reduce logistical emissions and optimise our processes. This benefits both the quality of our products and the climate.
