Be enchanted by the Rosa 'Polka' XL Climbing Rose, a masterpiece by the renowned French breeder Jacques Mouchotte. This refined climbing rose brings an unmistakably romantic and warm glow to any garden with its lush, apricot-colored flowers. The large, densely filled blooms, which can reach up to 15 cm in diameter, transition from a deep apricot at the center to softly glowing shades at the edges. They emit a classic, sweet fragrance that fills the air with a touch of timeless nostalgia, while also attracting bees and butterflies for a lively atmosphere.

The 'Polka' is exceptionally versatile: let it adorn walls, pergolas, or rose arches as a vigorous climber reaching an impressive height of 3 to 4 meters, or train it as a compact, elegant shrub up to 1.5 meters. Thanks to its repeat-blooming nature, you can enjoy a long flowering period from early summer well into autumn. This rose is winter hardy, disease resistant, and surprisingly low maintenance, making it an excellent choice for both beginner and experienced gardeners looking for a stylish eye-catcher.

At Belle Époque Rose Nursery in Aalsmeer, you buy the Rosa 'Polka' directly from the grower. With over 40 years of family experience and a passion for roses, we guarantee a strong, healthy plant cultivated with care and expertise. Our sustainable growing methods ensure your 'Polka' adds color, fragrance, and elegance to your garden for years to come. Choose Belle Époque quality and let your garden shine with this enchanting apricot-colored beauty.

Roses in pots

A potted rose is a rose plant that has already been grown in a pot and is delivered with a well-developed root system. These roses are ready to be planted directly in the garden or in a larger pot, without having to wait for root growth. This makes the potted rose ideal for planting throughout the year, especially from May through October.

Roses with bare roots

Bare-root roses – also called root roses – are rose plants delivered without a pot or soil. These roses are dormant and can be planted directly in open ground. The best time to plant a root rose is in autumn or early spring, when the soil is still moist and the temperature mild.

At Belle Epoque we supply bare-root roses from November through April. Thanks to the well-developed root system and the right planting conditions, these roses grow vigorously into healthy and bloom-rich bushes or climbing roses.

Products are shipped directly from the nursery every Monday and Wednesday. By delivering only twice a week, we reduce logistical emissions and optimise our processes. This benefits both the quality of our products and the climate.
