The Rosa Ferdinand Pichard is a historical rose from the Belle Époque period, introduced by Remy Tanne in 1921. This special variety made history as one of the first striped roses and has remained beloved worldwide ever since.
The medium-sized, filled flowers are cup-shaped and enchant with their unique pink and white stripes – a playful and elegant play of colors that immediately stands out in the garden. The bush grows bushy and strong, and can grow to over a meter high, giving Ferdinand Pichard a robust presence.
Besides its decorative value, this rose is known for its vitality and strong growth. For lovers of historical roses, Ferdinand Pichard is a must-have: a living reminder of the rose breeding of the early 20th century, which still enriches every garden today with timeless beauty.

Roses in Pots
A potted rose is a rose plant that has been pre-grown in a pot and comes with a well-developed root system. These roses are ready to be planted directly into the garden or a larger container — no need to wait for new root growth. This makes potted roses ideal for planting throughout the year, especially from May to October.
Bare Root Roses
Bare root roses are rose plants supplied without soil or pots. These roses are in their dormant stage and can be planted directly into the ground. The best time to plant bare root roses is in autumn or early spring, when the soil is still moist and temperatures are mild.
At Belle Epoque, we supply bare root roses from November to April. Thanks to their strong root systems and the right planting conditions, these roses quickly grow into healthy, vigorous shrubs or climbing roses with abundant blooms.
Products are shipped weekly on Mondays & Shipped directly from the nursery on Wednesday. By delivering only twice a week, we reduce logistical emissions and optimize our processes. This benefits both the quality of our products and the climate.
