About Elizabeth (Ausmajesty)

Be enchanted by the timeless elegance of Rosa Elizabeth® (Ausmajesty), a majestic David Austin rose named in honor of Queen Elizabeth II. This lush shrub rose exudes royal allure with its medium-sized, soft pink flowers subtly tinged with peach. They open gracefully in clusters, adorning the plant with their long-lasting beauty. The refined, fresh fragrance with delicate citrus notes is a tribute to subtlety and enriches your garden with a touch of regal serenity.

With its bushy and healthy growth habit, the Elizabeth® is a versatile addition to any garden. It excels as an elegant solitary plant, forms a beautiful informal hedge, or adds regal charm to borders and rose beds. Thanks to its tolerance for both sun and light shade, and even a north-facing wall, this rose easily finds its place. Its beauty also shines fully in a large pot on a balcony or terrace, where it blooms continuously from early summer well into autumn.

At Belle Époque Rose Nursery in Aalsmeer, we have been cultivating the most exceptional roses with passion and expertise for over 40 years. When you order the Rosa Elizabeth® from us, you receive a plant directly from the grower, vital and sustainably cultivated. We guarantee you a healthy start and years of blooming pleasure from this resilient and disease-resistant rose, lovingly and carefully grown by our family.

Care & Plants
Preferably plant the Rosa Elizabeth® in the fall or early spring in well-draining, nutrient-rich soil, or year-round if grown in a pot. Prepare a spacious planting hole, enrich the soil with compost, and plant the rose at the same depth as it was in the pot, then press firmly and water generously.
Prune the Rosa Elizabeth® in March, after the last severe frost, by removing dead and weak branches. Shorten the remaining branches to about one-third of their length, just above an outward-facing bud, to encourage bushy growth and abundant flowering.
Water the Rosa Elizabeth® regularly during dry periods, especially when grown in pots, to keep the soil slightly moist. For abundant blooms and healthy growth, fertilize the rose in early spring and again in summer with a special rose fertilizer, supplemented with a mulch layer of compost.
