About Cyclamen Peter of Ronsard

The 'Cyclamen Pierre de Ronsard' is a true ode to romance, with its breathtaking, nostalgically full flowers that transform any garden. Imagine: deep cyclamen and raspberry hues, often lighter at the edges and more intense at the heart, unfolding into a luxurious, peony-like shape. These large, heavily filled flowers, with their beautiful layering, exude timeless elegance. A soft, lightly fruity fragrance adds a subtle refinement to this enchanting appearance.

This vigorous climbing rose is the perfect partner for creating vertical splendor. Let it gracefully climb walls, pergolas, or rose arches and enjoy a lush sea of flowers that lasts from late spring well into autumn. It effortlessly adds depth and character to any romantic or cottage garden, and its large, lush flowers also make stunning cut flowers for an impressive bouquet.

At Belle Époque Rose Nursery in Aalsmeer, you buy this 'Cyclamen Pierre de Ronsard' directly from the grower. With over 40 years of family experience in rose cultivation, we guarantee you a healthy, strong plant, sustainably grown with the utmost care and expertise. Choose the proven quality of a rose lovingly nurtured, ready to enrich your garden for years to come.

Care & Plants
Plant potted roses all year round, bare-root roses from October to April. Choose a sunny to partially shaded spot with well-draining soil. Dig a spacious planting hole, place the rose so that the graft union (swelling) is just below the soil surface, fill in with soil, and press firmly.
Prune the 'Cyclamen Pierre de Ronsard' in early spring (March), once the worst frost has passed. Remove dead, diseased, or damaged branches and shorten the side shoots to 2-3 buds to encourage abundant flowering. Train the main branches horizontally for optimal bloom.
Water the rose regularly, especially during dry periods and in the first growing year. Fertilize in early spring and after the first bloom with an organic rose fertilizer. A mulch layer around the base helps retain moisture and suppress weeds.

The quility is good, even first year had so many

The quality is good, even first year I had many flowers.

But the color is not what I expected, it's closer to classic pink, I expected more bright and dark as on pictures. Also the shape of flower looks differently...
