Sometimes the most beautiful roses do not arise on paper, but simply… in a garden.
Dawn Blush is exactly such a rose.
This special rose was found in Aalsmeer, in the garden of a rose enthusiast. No well-known breeder, no official name, no history on paper. What there was: a fantastic salmon-coloured flower that made an immediate impression. A rose of which you instantly feel: this is something special.
For us it was clear – this is an asset.
A name that suits her appearance
Because her original name and breeder are unknown, we at Belle Epoque have given her a new name: Dawn Blush.
A name that perfectly fits her colour and appearance. Soft salmon-pink, warm and light, as if the first sun of the morning just touches her petals.
Colour, shape and appearance
Dawn Blush blooms with richly shaped flowers in a unique salmon colour that you do not often come across. The shade is warm, elegant and surprisingly versatile – beautiful in the garden and much loved in bouquets.
This is a rose that stands out without being loud. Elegant, full of character and with a natural charm.
A rose for lovers and discoverers
Dawn Blush is not a mass rose. She is for people who love the unexpected. For roses with a story, even if that story begins with a question mark.
- For rose lovers who seek something unique
- For garden owners who fall for special colours
- For collectors who like to add new discoveries
- For those who trust the eye and selection of the grower
At Belle Epoque we select roses that touch us. Dawn Blush is such a rose: found, recognised and cherished.

Roses in pots
A potted rose is a rose plant that has already been grown in a pot and is delivered with a well-developed root system. These roses are ready to be planted directly in the garden or in a larger pot, without having to wait for root growth. This makes the potted rose ideal for planting throughout the year, especially from May through October.
Roses with bare roots
Bare-root roses – also called root roses – are rose plants delivered without a pot or soil. These roses are dormant and can be planted directly in open ground. The best time to plant a root rose is in autumn or early spring, when the soil is still moist and the temperature mild.
At Belle Epoque we supply bare-root roses from November through April. Thanks to the well-developed root system and the right planting conditions, these roses grow vigorously into healthy and bloom-rich bushes or climbing roses.
Products are shipped directly from the nursery every Monday and Wednesday. By delivering only twice a week, we reduce logistical emissions and optimise our processes. This benefits both the quality of our products and the climate.
