Be enchanted by the 'Strawberry Hill' rose, a masterpiece by David Austin that combines elegance with an unforgettable fragrance. Its medium-sized, pure pink flowers open gracefully, with the color subtly lightening towards the edges and the golden-yellow stamens creating a beautiful contrast. The intensity of its aroma is unmatched: a unique symphony of classic myrrh and the sweetness of heather honey, caressing your senses and leaving a lasting impression.
With its healthy, upright growth and glossy dark green leaves, 'Strawberry Hill' is a versatile addition to any garden. It excels as a stately shrub rose at the back of a border, where its height and scent can fully shine. It also creates a romantic atmosphere as a charming low climbing rose along an arch, pergola, or fence, perfect for a classic cottage garden or an English rose garden.
At Belle Époque Rose Nursery in Aalsmeer, a family business with over 40 years of passion and craftsmanship, you buy the 'Strawberry Hill' rose directly from the grower. We guarantee top-quality roses, grown with care and sustainability. Choose the expertise and dedication that have been part of our roses for generations, and bring a piece of rose history into your home.

Roses in pots
A potted rose is a rose plant that has already been grown in a pot and is delivered with a well-developed root system. These roses are ready to be planted directly in the garden or in a larger pot, without having to wait for root growth. This makes the potted rose ideal for planting throughout the year, especially from May through October.
Roses with bare roots
Bare-root roses – also called root roses – are rose plants delivered without a pot or soil. These roses are dormant and can be planted directly in open ground. The best time to plant a root rose is in autumn or early spring, when the soil is still moist and the temperature mild.
At Belle Epoque we supply bare-root roses from November through April. Thanks to the well-developed root system and the right planting conditions, these roses grow vigorously into healthy and bloom-rich bushes or climbing roses.
Products are shipped directly from the nursery every Monday and Wednesday. By delivering only twice a week, we reduce logistical emissions and optimise our processes. This benefits both the quality of our products and the climate.
