The Rosa ‘Schneewittchen’, known worldwide as ‘Iceberg’, is a timeless classic that has been enriching gardens since 1958. This iconic cluster rose, introduced by Kordes and awarded the prestigious Top Rose title, enchants with an endless stream of creamy white, semi-double flowers. Its open structure with visible stamens makes it not only elegant but also an irresistible magnet for bees and butterflies, filling your garden with life and a gentle fragrance from June until the first frost.

With its bushy and elegant growth habit, ‘Schneewittchen’ reaches an ideal height of 80 to 120 cm and a width of 70 to 80 cm. Its strong reblooming and healthy growth make it highly suitable for various garden uses: whether you plant it in a classic border, as a radiant solitary showpiece, or in a large pot on your terrace or balcony. Regular pruning of spent flowers encourages a continuous sea of blooms that lasts for months.

At Belle Époque Rose Nursery, a family business with over 40 years of expertise in Aalsmeer, we deliver your Rosa ‘Schneewittchen’ directly from our nursery. We guarantee roses grown with the utmost care, passion, and sustainable cultivation methods, ensuring you receive a fresh, healthy plant that brings years of bloom and joy to your garden. Roses in pots

A potted rose is a rose plant that has already been grown in a pot and is delivered with a well-developed root system. These roses are ready to be planted directly in the garden or in a larger pot, without having to wait for root growth. This makes the potted rose ideal for planting throughout the year, especially from May through October.

Roses with bare roots

Bare-root roses – also called root roses – are rose plants delivered without a pot or soil. These roses are dormant and can be planted directly in open ground. The best time to plant a root rose is in autumn or early spring, when the soil is still moist and the temperature mild.

At Belle Epoque we supply bare-root roses from November through April. Thanks to the well-developed root system and the right planting conditions, these roses grow vigorously into healthy and bloom-rich bushes or climbing roses.

Products are shipped directly from the nursery every Monday and Wednesday. By delivering only twice a week, we reduce logistical emissions and optimise our processes. This benefits both the quality of our products and the climate.
