The meaning of the name
Lieve is a girl’s name in the Netherlands – rare, gentle, and elegant. At the same time, lieve in English means “dear”: cherished, beloved. Exactly that feeling this rose evokes. Princess Lieve is not a rose you choose quickly, but one that touches you.

Internationally, Princess Lieve is being tested in Colombia and Kenya. It is expected that she will become available later this year as a cut rose from Colombia, and that she will also be introduced as a garden rose in the United States. A rose clearly ready for a larger stage, yet retaining her exclusive character.
