Be enchanted by the Rosa ‘Pear’, a unique edible rose that delights both the eye and the taste buds. This charming shrub rose adorns your garden with its semi-double, soft pink flowers about 8 cm in size, appearing in graceful clusters. What truly makes it special is the subtle, spicy fragrance and the surprising taste of its petals: a fresh, sweet and sour hint of ripe pears. A culinary gem that adds a new dimension to your dishes and garden experience.
The Rosa ‘Pear’ is a healthy and bushy shrub rose that reaches a height of 60-70 cm, making it perfect for various uses. It feels at home in borders but also excels in pots, containers, and baskets on your terrace or balcony. Moreover, this rose is a true magnet for bees and butterflies, bringing extra life to your garden. Use the edible petals in fresh salads, refined desserts, as an elegant garnish on cakes, or candied for a long-lasting sweet treat.

Place the rose in a spot with at least 6 hours of sun per day during the growing season (April–September). At high summer temperatures, partial shade is ideal to keep the fresh pink color beautiful.

Roses in pots
A potted rose is a rose plant that has already been grown in a pot and is delivered with a well-developed root system. These roses are ready to be planted directly in the garden or in a larger pot, without having to wait for root growth. This makes the potted rose ideal for planting throughout the year, especially from May through October.
Roses with bare roots
Bare-root roses – also called root roses – are rose plants delivered without a pot or soil. These roses are dormant and can be planted directly in open ground. The best time to plant a root rose is in autumn or early spring, when the soil is still moist and the temperature mild.
At Belle Epoque we supply bare-root roses from November through April. Thanks to the well-developed root system and the right planting conditions, these roses grow vigorously into healthy and bloom-rich bushes or climbing roses.
Products are shipped directly from the nursery every Monday and Wednesday. By delivering only twice a week, we reduce logistical emissions and optimise our processes. This benefits both the quality of our products and the climate.
