The Rosa 'Rhapsody in Blue' is an enchanting sight that transforms your garden into a mysterious paradise. This rare rose unfolds with an unprecedented play of colors: deep purple and intense violet-blue emerge, then elegantly fade to a soft slate blue. The contrast with the bright yellow stamens at its heart is simply spectacular. Its subtle, spicy fragrance adds an extra dimension to this unique experience, irresistibly attracting bees and butterflies.

Whether you plant it as a majestic shrub rose (120-150 cm) in a border, or let it embrace a wall or pergola as a graceful climbing rose (up to 200 cm), the 'Rhapsody in Blue' adapts effortlessly. It blooms abundantly from June until the first frost, treats you to clusters of unique flowers for months, and is a stunning eye-catcher in any cutting garden, as a solitary plant or even in a large pot on the balcony.

At Belle Époque Rose Nursery in Aalsmeer, with over 40 years of expertise, we guarantee you a top-quality 'Rhapsody in Blue'. Our roses are grown with passion and sustainability, resulting in a strong, healthy plant with high disease resistance. Roses in pots

A potted rose is a rose plant that has already been grown in a pot and is delivered with a well-developed root system. These roses are ready to be planted directly in the garden or in a larger pot, without having to wait for root growth. This makes the potted rose ideal for planting throughout the year, especially from May through October.

Roses with bare roots

Bare-root roses – also called root roses – are rose plants delivered without a pot or soil. These roses are dormant and can be planted directly in open ground. The best time to plant a root rose is in autumn or early spring, when the soil is still moist and the temperature mild.

At Belle Epoque we supply bare-root roses from November through April. Thanks to the well-developed root system and the right planting conditions, these roses grow vigorously into healthy and bloom-rich bushes or climbing roses.

Products are shipped directly from the nursery every Monday and Wednesday. By delivering only twice a week, we reduce logistical emissions and optimise our processes. This benefits both the quality of our products and the climate.
