About Oklahoma

The rose ‘Oklahoma’ is an impressive large-flowered rose that comes directly from our Belle Epoque nursery. Its deep dark red, velvety blossoms with subtle black nuances give any garden a dramatic and luxurious appearance. The large, full flowers are not only a visual spectacle but also spread an intensely rich scent that enchants the entire garden.

With a height of about 80 cm and a bushy, vigorous growth, this rose is ideal for both borders and mixed plantings. From May to October, you can enjoy an abundant bloom, with new flowers appearing continuously. Thanks to its compact size, it also does very well in larger pots or as a showpiece in the front garden.

The ‘Oklahoma’, bred by Swim and Weeks, is a beloved choice for rose lovers who appreciate rich colors, a classic flower shape, and a strong scent. Perfectly suited for those who want to enjoy a rose with true grandeur both in the garden and in floral arrangements.

Forty years of nothing but roses

Belle Époque is a family business, not a wholesaler. From our greenhouses in Aalsmeer, we have been growing only roses for over four decades — and every plant we send out is personally selected by us. This way, you receive not a catalog rose, but a plant ready to grow.

Not very good condition

The plant seems to be in compromised condition. Its leaves does look very healthy and there are white spots on them. There's no flower, obviously. I would suggest you pay more attention to the quality of this species (the other species I bought at the same time is fine). But it's growing new leaves. So I will see how it performs in the future.
