The Rosa 'Ballerina' dances through your garden with unparalleled grace. This enchanting musk rose, a true eye-catcher, reveals a play of delicate pink blossoms that open in a deeper shade and gracefully fade to pale pink. With its charming white center and striking dark stamens, it creates an elegant color palette. Add the delightful, strong musk fragrance that gently drifts through your garden, and you’ll understand why this rose is so beloved.
The versatile 'Ballerina' is an asset to any garden and offers countless uses. With a height of 100 to 150 cm, it is ideal as a lush ground cover, a charming rose hedge, or as a solitary shrub that steals the show. It also thrives beautifully in borders, rose beds, or even as a low climbing rose. After the abundant blooming period, which attracts bees and butterflies, small orange hips adorn the shrub, keeping your garden lively well into autumn. It thrives in both sunny and lightly shaded spots, making it a flexible choice.
At Belle Époque Rose Nursery, we nurture the 'Ballerina' with the utmost care and expertise, gained from over 40 years of experience in Aalsmeer. As a family business, we cultivate with passion and dedication, ensuring you receive healthy, strong roses directly from our nursery. Choose the sustainable quality of Belle Époque and bring a piece of Dutch rose history into your home, ready to enrich your garden.

Roses in pots
A potted rose is a rose plant that has already been grown in a pot and is delivered with a well-developed root system. These roses are ready to be planted directly in the garden or in a larger pot, without having to wait for root growth. This makes the potted rose ideal for planting throughout the year, especially from May through October.
Roses with bare roots
Bare-root roses – also called root roses – are rose plants delivered without a pot or soil. These roses are dormant and can be planted directly in open ground. The best time to plant a root rose is in autumn or early spring, when the soil is still moist and the temperature mild.
At Belle Epoque we supply bare-root roses from November through April. Thanks to the well-developed root system and the right planting conditions, these roses grow vigorously into healthy and bloom-rich bushes or climbing roses.
Products are shipped directly from the nursery every Monday and Wednesday. By delivering only twice a week, we reduce logistical emissions and optimise our processes. This benefits both the quality of our products and the climate.
