DIY: Make your own refreshing rose lemonade! 🌹

Have you ever thought that you can capture the scent and taste of roses in a refreshing drink? It's easier than you think! Follow this recipe and enjoy a unique, summer treat.
🍋 What do you need?
2 to 3 tablespoons of rose petals (unsprayed, preferably from your own Belle Epoque roses 🌹).
1 liter water.
100 grams of sugar or honey
The juice of 2 lemons.
Optional: a sprig of mint for extra freshness.
Here's how to make it:
1. Picking & preparing:
Pick the most beautiful, unsprayed rose petals and rinse them carefully with cold water.
2. Making rose water:
Bring the water to the boil and add the rose petals. Let this simmer over low heat for 5 minutes. Then turn off the heat and let the mixture steep for an hour.
3. Sweeten:
Strain the rose water and put it in a pan. Add the sugar or honey and heat gently until everything is dissolved.
4. Fresh twist:
Stir the lemon juice into the rose water. You will see that the drink turns a beautiful pink shade!
5. Cooling & serving:
Allow the lemonade to cool completely and place it in the refrigerator. Serve with ice cubes, a slice of lemon, and possibly a sprig of mint.
