As close to a blue-colored rose as you could wish for. This “Blue Rambler” has huge clusters of 10-30 flowers per cluster that almost cover the rich green foliage. Climbing Rose Veilchenblau blooms in the spring for 2 to 3 months and the flowers are very beautiful. The flowers are about 4 to 5 centimeters in size in a soft violet-purple color with golden stamens. This rose has a very strong scent that is almost fruity. The rose grows strongly and is disease-free. This rose was introduced in 1909, making it one of our oldest roses in the range. Delivered directly from the rose nursery.

Care Instructions

Caring for rose 'Veilchenblau' is not difficult, but the rose does require some time and attention on a regular basis. Roses need a lot of energy to grow well and sufficient water and nutrition helps with this. Also check regularly whether there are spent flower buds on the rose. To avoid wasting energy, it is best to remove these as quickly as possible. It is wise to fertilize the rose so that it can absorb good and healthy nutrition again. The advice is to do this twice a year; in March and the end of June.
