Inspired by the roses in still lifes and old masters, we set out to find roses that were popular when rose cultivation reached its peak during la belle époque. The time when the most extravagant roses were created. Dramatically beautiful roses with a rich fragrance that bear lovely names, each with its own story. Roses that have unjustly fallen into oblivion and that you only occasionally find in castle gardens, at palaces, or on estates. In our search, we selected varieties that, due to their timeless beauty, are a contemporary showcase for any garden or terrace. Grafted in minimal quantities, under the name Forgotten Roses, now exclusively available at Belle Epoque.
