Introduction of Japanese roses from Wabara

Introductie Japanse rozen van Wabara - Belle Epoque

At Belle Epoque, we believe in roses that grow in and with nature. That's why we're proud to soon be able to exclusively present a range of WABARA Roses from Japan, grown especially for you in the Netherlands.

WABARA Roses originate from a beautiful family tradition. Keiji Kunieda, the founder of Rose Farm KEIJI, began cultivating unique roses in 1981 that would capture hearts worldwide. Together with his son Kenichi, he developed the renowned "Japanese rose" that exudes beauty, simplicity, and harmony.

What makes WABARA so special? Cultivation with a focus on nature. These roses aren't grown in greenhouses using hydroponics, but in open ground, in harmony with their surroundings. Healthy, vibrant soil is essential for this sustainable cultivation method. By following nature's example and creating a balance between the roses and their environment, they receive exactly what they need to flourish.

This shared vision is what makes our exclusive collaboration so special. Together with WABARA, we are working on a unique rangeSpecially tailored to our European gardens. The first roses will be available in small quantities, and from October 2026, we will present an even larger assortment.

We're very much looking forward to introducing you to these special roses, which are not only beautiful but also contribute to a healthier environment.

Stay tuned for more news and discover the first WABARA roses from Dutch soil soon!

Kind regards,
Wouter
