Rosa ‘Cyclamen Pierre de Ronsard®’ (Margaret Mae) – XL Climbing Rose 160 cm
Discover the Rosa ‘Cyclamen Pierre de Ronsard®’ (Margaret Mae) – the colorful heir of the world-famous Pierre de Ronsard®. This beautiful XL climbing rose (160 cm) from Meilland combines the same classic flower shape and romantic appearance as its legendary predecessor, but distinguishes itself by its intense pink color.
The large, cup-shaped flowers – with as many as 70 to 80 petals – display an enchanting mix of deep pink shades with soft, lighter nuances on the back of the flower. They bloom in small clusters of 2 to 5 flowers and emit a light, fresh, and fruity fragrance that perfectly matches their elegant appearance.
The Cyclamen Pierre de Ronsard® blooms abundantly and repeatedly, from late spring until the first frost, bringing months of color and romance to the garden. Its vigorous growth and excellent disease resistance also make it a reliable choice for any gardener.
With its sturdy yet flexible branches, this climbing rose easily reaches a height of 2 to 3 meters and can cover an area of 8 to 12 m² . This makes it ideal for decorating pergolas, walls, trellises, or rose arches.
This variety was awarded as best climbing rose in La Tacita (Italy, 2018) and won the first prize in Hradec Králové (Czech Republic, 2020) – a well-deserved recognition of its beauty and performance.

Roses in a pot
A potted rose is a rose plant that has already been grown in a pot and is delivered with a well-developed root system. These roses are ready to be planted in the garden or in a larger pot, without having to wait for roots to develop. This makes the potted rose ideal for year-round planting, especially May to October.
Bare-root roses – also called root roses – are rose plants that are delivered without pots or soil. These roses are dormant and can be planted directly in the ground. The best time to plant a root rose is autumn or early spring, when the soil is still moist and the temperature is mild.
At Belle Epoque we supply bare root roses from November to AprilThanks to the well-developed root system and the right planting conditions, these roses grow vigorously into healthy and floriferous shrubs or climbing roses.
Products are shipped weekly on Mondays & Shipped directly from the nursery on Wednesday. By delivering only twice a week, we reduce logistical emissions and optimize our processes. This benefits both the quality of our products and the climate.
