My first encounter with roses took place in 2011 during a business trip to Kenya. There I was touched by the beauty of the rose Prince Jardinier. It was the beginning of a passion that has changed my life.
Since then, I have had the privilege of meeting growers and breeders from all over the world, including Kordes, Tantau, Meilland, Austin, and leading Dutch rose developers. A special experience was my trip to Japan, where I was impressed by the rose-giving culture. A moment that will always stay with me: when we gave a rose as a gift to a woman in a hotel and the emotion it caused. Giving roses often gives us more than we realize.
In 2016, I moved to Aalsmeer for my work. There I became acquainted with Belle Epoque, a company with a rich assortment and a long history in rose cultivation. The passion, quality, and tradition immediately appealed to me. After a few years, I am proud to now be the owner of this beautiful company.
